WELCOME TO THE EVANS CENTER FOR DIGESTIVE AND LIVER HEALTH The Evans Center for Digestive and Liver Health is a caring and efficient full service gastroenterology pratice operating in Evans Memorial Hospital every Wednesday. The latest in expertise and technology are available. Gastrointestinal diseases are efficiently diagnosed and treated with the total needs of each patient taken into consideration. Our medial director, Dr. Nicholas V. Costrini, has contributed much to the field of medicine on a national level, and remains dedicated to bringing the best that medicine can offer to his patients. Our “family” of professional, friendly staff makes it a priority to insure that each patient visit is a positive experience. In addition to routine GI diagnosis and treatment in the consulting area, Dr. Costrini provides expert endoscopic care available in the endoscopy suite located at Evans Memorial Hospital. Special programs are designed to monitor patients with chronic GI disease such as IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) or hepatitis. Should in-patient care become necessary, Dr. Costrini admits to Evans Memorial Hospital as needed or to any of the threee hospitals in Savannah. Dr Costrini is involved in the project for Rural Digestive Health Care Research in conjunction with Georgia Southern University and Evans Memorial Hospital.
